Artistic Residency in San Miguel de Allende, México

I was invited to attend the first cohort of @made_creatives_in_residence in San Miguel de Allende, México. A one month, extraordinary experience, full of magic and creativity! I am incredibly grateful to have witnessed some of the rich history of this land. From pre-Hispanic dances and rituals to taking Arte Sacro as a new way of creative expression. Wow, I'm in awe. The faith of the people in SMDA is touching, their dedication to maintaining tradition, customs and devotions is impressive. I feel grateful to have witnessed the dedication, community organization and devotion of this beautiful town. For me, creating is an act of faith. From the moment an idea is born until the moment it materializes, we are blindly trusting that it will work and if you respect your craft, you make sure to see it through.
